Clinical Supervision

I am an approved Clinical Supervisor for the Virginia Board of Counseling. I provide both individual and group clinical supervision for residents pursuing licensure as Professional Counselors, and Marriage and Family Therapists.  I also provide supervision for residents pursuing licensure as Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioners or those working towards credentialing as Certified Substance Abuse Counselors on a limited basis.  Supervision and consultation is also available for licensed clinicians seeking ongoing professional development or additional oversight in certain counseling specializations.

Supervision toward licensure is a highly collaborative, and often lengthy, process.  The supervisor/supervisee relationship is critically important, and must be, from the onset, designed to complement the needs and learning styles of the supervisee as well as the teaching and training styles of the supervisor.  For this reason, I will meet with all prospective supervisees before agreeing to become their supervisor.  During this meeting, we will discuss expectations, requirements, fees, schedule and other aspects of the supervision process.

 

Current  Fees for supervision (fees are subject to change):

$45 per 60 minute Group Supervision Meeting

$85 per 60 minute Individual Supervision Meeting
